HEALTH CLAIM
According to European Regulation 432/2012, olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The claim can only be used for olive oil which contains at least 5mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives (e.g. oleoeuropein and tyrosol complex) per 20g of olive oil.
The Early Harvest oil of Amfissa as well as the Early Harvest of Halkidiki, which we produce, has been certified with the specific health claim by the E.U.
